The Circulatory System

Role of the Circulatory System

The circulatory system is a major part of the body. Without it humans couldn't survive. It circulates blood throughout the body, keeping all of the organs and cells alive. We wouldn't be able to survive without it, that is why the diseases and failures are taken so seriously. It delivers oxygen to the cells as food to give them energy to protect our body and reproduce. It is also a part of the respiratory system when the blood passes through the lungs for oxygen. Blood is pumped through arteries and veins throughout the body. The heart is an essential part of the body.
